Over the four-year programme, the accelerator will support over 150 energy and cleantech ventures, deploying scalable clean energy solutions to households, SMEs, and industries while driving measurable reductions in energy access gaps and carbon intensity across Tanzania.
Unlocking Tanzania's mineral wealth through responsible, technology-led innovation.
The Madini Accelerator focuses on mineral exploration technologies, value addition and processing, ESG-compliant mining, and supply-chain digitisation. By supporting over 120 mining and extractives ventures, the programme will increase local value addition and mineral beneficiation while improving transparency, safety, and environmental compliance across Tanzania's mining sector.
Reimagining Tanzania's world-class tourism industry for the digital age.
The Utalii Accelerator works with ventures in traveltech, eco-tourism, cultural tourism, hospitality innovation, and destination management platforms. With over 150 tourism and hospitality ventures accelerated, the programme will diversify Tanzania's tourism offerings beyond traditional safari models and increase local community participation in tourism value chains.
Feeding Tanzania's future through smart, connected agribusiness innovation.
The Kilimo Accelerator — the largest cohort in the programme — supports ventures in agritech, livestock productivity, mechanisation, cold-chain logistics, agri-finance, and climate-smart agriculture. With over 250 agribusiness and agritech ventures supported, the accelerator will improve farmer incomes and agricultural productivity while building stronger linkages between farmers, markets, and financial services.

The Viwanda Accelerator supports ventures in light manufacturing, industrial automation, local production, circular economy, and SME industrialisation. By accelerating over 180 manufacturing ventures, the programme will strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity, reduce import dependence, and create significant employment opportunities in industrial clusters and special economic zones.

With over 150 AI and deep-tech ventures supported, the accelerator will drive the development of Tanzania-relevant AI solutions across multiple sectors while strengthening the nation's capacity in frontier technologies and digital innovation.
